    2. WordPress’s Core Functionality is considered very secure 

    3. Security Vulnerabilities come in 2 forms: 
        a. Third Party Plugins (extends WordPress Core Functionality – image sliders, calendars, etc.) 
        b. Third Party Themes (no affiliation with WordPress, such as Theme Forest, WooThemes) 

    4. Anyone can develop and offer WordPress Themes and Plugins … ANYONE 

    5. WordPress has no affiliation or liability with Third Party Developers 

    6. There are over 29,000 free plugins available … a new one is developed every hour 7. A recent investigation has concluded that 73% of the 40,000 most popular websites that use WordPress software are vulnerable to attack.
